Life Light Bible Study
Tuesdays at 9:30 am

All are invited to join In LifeLight Bible study.  The goal of LifeLight is that through a regular program of in-depth personal and group study of Scripture, more and more Christian adults may grow in their personal faith in Jesus Christ.  We gather together around the Word to discuss the topic we are studying.

Each study lasts for nine weeks.  We have three different sessions during the school year. After the study and discussion we join to lift the needs and requests in prayer. Classes are divided, with men and women studying separately.

Sanctuary Praise Choir
Wednesday Evenings @ 6:30

The Sanctuary Praise Choir is open to everyone (high school and up) who enjoys singing praises to the Lord! Under the direction of Beth Markel and Amy Wieting, rehearsals are held Wednesday evenings from 7:30 PM – 8:30 pm, August through May, with a recess in the summer. Typically, we sing approximately twice a month for Sunday worship services, plus special services during Advent and Lent. Occasionally we perform cantatas and/or special pieces with band ensemble and specialty groups.

We are a small group within the church, that seeks to support all members and their friends and family by lifting them up in prayer. We gather together for fellowship and to welcome new members in the fall, Christmas and spring time.  New members may join at any time.  You are invited to lift your voice with us!

Lutheran Women’s Missionary League

LWML is the official women’s auxiliary of The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod.  The LWML encourages women to seek out and serve the needs of the people in their community and the world, to provide materials which enable women to grow spiritually, to encourage and equip them to reach out in love as they meet the opportunities and challenges for mission service projects, and to grow in agape love as fellowship is shared.

A major emphasis for LWML is the support of mission and ministry throughout the world by means of mite box offerings. Mites are gathered on the 5th Sunday of a month. These mite box offerings have funded tens of millions of dollars in Mission Grants since the organizations inception in 1942. We also enjoy Christmas Luncheons and Prayer Teas.

His Helping Hands meets quarterly on a Saturday. We usually have a Bible Study and/or a work session in addition to a short business meeting. The work session could include packing Personal Care Kits and School Kits which along with quilts are sent to Lutheran World Relief. Also, Bibles are marked for the local Prison Ministry, packing and delivering hats, mittens, etc. from the Mitten Tree, and delivering canned goods to a local charity, H.O.T.E.L., I.N.C.

Lutheran World Relief Quilters: This group is for those interested in tying quilts. They meet the third Tuesday of the month at 1:00 PM.
